Music Studio lets players express their musical creativity by giving them access to a full complement of tools to create digital music from scratch utilizing the guitar controller and drum kit. Players can create their tracks and then play them in-game or share the recordings with the entire Guitar Hero community through GHTunes. GHTunes allows other gamers from around the world to download and play the community's original tracks. | I finally gave in and picked up Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock when I came across Amazon's awesome $39.99 deal a couple of weeks ago. Then when I saw the track list for World Tour and I knew instantly that this was the one for me.
We are much more familiar with these songs than the Legends playlist. We were especially excited to see "Living on a Prayer". That song is a running joke in my house that just annoys the heck out of my wife, so naturally it was the first song I played. I would have to say that my only beef with the game so far is that in career mode, you are sometimes forced to sit through up to 6 straight songs. In Legends you would play 1 and sometimes 2. 4, 5, or 6 songs in a row can be tiresome. I read some bad reviews for the new guitar bundled with this game so I decided to stick with the wireless Les Paul from Legends. It serves us perfectly well. I do wish they would put out a lefty guitar though. Reaching the wammy bar is a huge pain when you have to flip it upside down. |

| This is actually a review for the band kit. I had lost interest in the Guitar Hero series when part 3 dropped cuz they had took the fun out of it by making it frustratingly(sic) difficult to where I didn't even want to play anymore and jumped the Rock Band train, but with world tour my faith in the series might be renewed. Obivously the major reason why people want to play GH4 is the new drums or at least that was one of my reasons and they did not disappoint. Compared to RB's drums, GH4's feel more natural and felt more like my actual drums. So far the game plays out like the others in the series career consists of playing songs one after another but now they are usually grouped into a couple of songs at a time and then an encore, while some sets you must actually purchase to play them with the money you earn in the game. Character creation is present a'la Rock Band, personally I like RB's better and you can customize the original characters. One thing that I liked was that there were finally some songs that I had been longing for since GH first hit. Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Korn, Tool to name a few, its a pretty good song list (84 songs in all, same as RB2) not to mention the brand new music creator. I tried it out, but its a little too complex for me to grasp, but luckly if you have xbox live you can download songs other people have made. Some of them I have downloaded have been pretty awesome, someone even made the themes from Mario and Zelda! Overall pretty fun game its hard for me to choose which one I like better GH4 or RB2, just try them both out and see for yourself. \m/ \m/ |

| I bought two of these games.....one for my son and one for his friend. They are both 14/15 and are very difficult to buy for. They loved this version of guitar hero and it is very funny to see them rock away at tunes that are almost as old as their parents! |
